Accessory Components Because SSBC believes in providing its customers with everything possible to make their pre-engineered steel building uncomplicated to assemble on-site, efficient in use, and attractive to the eye, we offer a wide variety of accessory products. Each is developed to complement the finished structure. Many of these accessories are available in colors that either match or contrast handsomely with the color of the building itself and each item is carefully chosen for the attention to detail and high quality of product that have become the hallmark of SSBC.

Skylights/Wall Lights

Formed from translucent fiberglass panels to match the configuration of the panels themselves, these units transmit close to 60% of the natural light into the building. This reduces lighting costs and provides a brighter interior. Available with UL 90 uplift rating if desired which can typically result in significant insurance savings.

Roof Jacks

These resilient cones are used where there needs to be roof or wall panel penetrations, such as for vent pipes. They are available in various diameters and can be placed at either the highs or the lows of a panel and provide an excellent barrier against water infiltration.

Round Ventilators

Equipped with a damper and available in a 20" diameter opening, these ventilators are a very economical way to bring fresh air into your SSBC steel building.

Ridge Vents/Monovents

Available in 10' sections with enclosed ends, and each vent comes equipped with a damper and bird screen. The size of these vents allows for exceptional efficiency in those buildings where because of size or use, a larger venting capability is needed.

Gutters and Downspouts

These attractive yet very sturdy accessories are designed to effectively control and direct water runoff when needed. They are available in the same color as the building's panels or can be ordered in a contrasting color.

Wall Louvers

Offered in either fixed or adjustable blade models, these fixtures significantly improve the air flow throughout your SSBC building. Available in various sizes, depending upon your specific needs and building size.

Doors and Hardware

These standard doors can be 3' x 7', 4' x 7', or 6' x 7' (double doors) and available as a solid panel or with a glass window. Wire reinforced glass can be specified if desired. They come with frame and a hardware package that includes a standard lock-set knob, hinges, threshold, sweep, and trim.

ADA lever-sets are available as a special option. We can also provide oversized doors and their hardware.

Aluminum Windows

Our aluminum windows are weather resistant and make the perfect finishing touch for your SSBC building. They come in either horizontal sliding or single hung models, both with halfscreens. Various window sizes and styles, including special designs, are available to match your needs.

Roof and Wall Fasteners

SSBC offers a wide variety of fasteners in a number of sizes to match your building's specific requirements. The screws come in self-drilling or self-tapping types and blind rivets are also available. All of these fasteners can be ordered in colors that match that of the panels.

Tools

For your convenience professional quality tools for building and panel assembly are available from SSBC. These include such items as screw guns, shears, nibblers, and socket drivers, just to name a few. SSBC can also provide the anchors, bolts, insulation, and other metal building components that you will need to insure that you have everything necessary for assembly. All of these items and more are designed to fit your SSBC building. But most important, when you order accessories directly from SSBC they arrive on-site at the appropriate time making complete assembly faster and easier. We can, and will, provide everything you need to make the process of finishing your SSBC steel building as simple and cost effective as possible.
